A whole-food multivitamin for teenage boys aged 12 and over, iron-free per the UK label. Two capsules a day, with no sugar and no artificial colours, built so a boy runs his own routine.
- Ages 12 and over
- 60 capsules, one month
- 2 capsules a day
- No sugar, no colours
-
Skin, from the inside of the label. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin*, and copper contributes to normal skin pigmentation.*
-
A head for school years. Pantothenic acid contributes to normal mental performance* and iodine contributes to normal cognitive function.*
-
The immune base. Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system.*
-
No sugar, no colours. These are capsules, not sweets.
His routine, not a project. Here's the thinking.
What about iron?
This formula carries none; the label's nutrition table and ingredient list are iron-free. If iron is the thing you want covered, the all-teens Teen Complete Multivitamin includes it at 4 mg, or ask your GP or pharmacist whether your teen needs it at all.
This is a multivitamin, not a training programme. It covers nutritional gaps; food, sleep and effort build the rest.
Why this formula
Why capsules instead of gummies?
Because a gummy is a sweet with a supplement inside, and the sugar and colourings come along for the ride. These capsules carry the formula and nothing else. If a taste-first format is the only thing a younger child will accept, that's what our Kids Chewable is for; by the teen years, two capsules with meals is a fair ask.
Who is this NOT for?
Under 12s belong with our Kids Chewable Multivitamin. A teen who'd rather have the all-teens formula can take Teen Complete; it covers boys and girls and is every bit as complete. From 18, the Men's Daily Essentials range takes over.
Benefit highlights, in full
(unedited field 4, kept for the accordion): - Skin, from the inside of the label. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin*, and copper contributes to normal skin pigmentation*. Teenage skin gets plenty of products thrown at it; these are the nutrients with authorised claims behind them. - A head for school years. Pantothenic acid contributes to normal mental performance* and iodine contributes to normal cognitive function*. Homework, exams, and everything else the teenage brain gets asked to do. - The immune base. Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system*, covered in the same daily serving rather than a separate bottle. - No sugar, no colours. These are capsules, not sweets. A gummy carries sugar and colourings as the price of tasting like a snack; this formula skips the trade entirely. - Two capsules, his job. Taken with meals, from a bottle that lasts a month. Simple enough to own without an adult running it.

Questions
Why two capsules instead of one?
The serving size is two, which lets the formula carry more than a single capsule could hold. The label's own suggestion is one capsule with breakfast and one with dinner; the daily total is what matters.
Is this better than a gummy?
It's different on the two points we care about: no sugar and no artificial colours. A gummy buys compliance with sweetness. By the teenage years we'd rather buy it with simplicity: two capsules, done.
Boys' formula or Teen Complete?
Both are complete multivitamins; neither is the junior option. This one is formulated around teenage boys. Teen Complete covers all teens. Choose the one he'll actually take every day, because the habit beats the formula choice.
How do I know what's in it?
The nutrition table on this page lists every nutrient, its amount and %NRV. Every bottle carries its batch number and best-before date.
Does he need extra protein or anything else with it?
This is a multivitamin, and it stays in its lane. It covers the vitamin and mineral base. Meals cover protein and everything else; if a sport or a growth question goes beyond food, that's a GP or registered dietitian conversation.
What age does this start and stop?
It's a teen formula; from 18 the Men's Daily Essentials range takes over, and under 12s use the Kids Chewable.
What to expect
Days 1 to 14: Nothing dramatic, and that's normal. A multivitamin works through steady daily intake. The early job is the habit: two capsules with a meal he never skips.
Weeks 4 to 8: The routine either belongs to him by now or needs a better anchor. When it's his, you've bought the thing this product is really for.
Ongoing: One bottle is a month. Put it on a reorder rhythm, or hand him the job. Managing his own restock is part of building yourself too.

Our in-house nutrition tip
What I look for in a boys' teen formula is restraint. No sugar dressed up as a health product, no adult mega-doses, and a label a fifteen-year-old could read and understand himself. This one holds that line: two plain capsules carrying the vitamin and mineral base, with the skin, cognition and immune nutrients named and their amounts printed. And to be clear about what it is not: it won't out-eat a poor diet, replace sleep, or substitute for training. It covers the base so the rest of what he's building has something to stand on.
