It definitely prevents hair loss. I haven’t had any hair loss after having a baby. Around 1 year postpartum I switched to a cheaper supplement and started losing hair. Back to this one again and no hair loss again.

not very impressed
Not sure how good is its absorption rate. My energy level is still very low. its been around 2 weeks of taking tablets. don’t see or feel any difference in my recovery to be speedy or evident since taking it. I also question how come the big list of vitamins and supplements fit in one capsule. But then again i may see good results after another 2-3 weeks or so as i understand that natural supplements take time to show their effectiveness. For now i won’t recommend it to anyone.

Alongside those are 290 micrograms of iodine from kelp, choline, 20 micrograms of vitamin D3 from lichen, and calcium and magnesium from marine algae.

How do I take it?
Three capsules a day with food and a full glass of water. The label says you can also open them and add the powder to food or a drink.
Can I take it while breastfeeding?
It's made for new mums. If you're breastfeeding or take any medicine, the label asks you to talk to your health visitor, GP or pharmacist about it, including its herbs, before use.
What's in the herbal blend?
100 mg of fenugreek seed, blessed thistle, fennel seed extract, stinging nettle root and alfalfa leaves per three capsules.
What's the difference between this and the Prenatal?
The Postnatal has 9 mg of iron, 600 µg of folate and the herbal blend. The Prenatal has 27 mg of iron and 800 µg of folate, with no herbs. If you're still pregnant, ask your midwife before switching.
Is it vegan?
Yes. The capsule is plant-based, and it's free from soya, gluten, dairy, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts and sesame.
Why is there a UK sticker on the bottle?
The bottle carries its original US label, so we add a UK sticker with the nutrition information in the UK format. Go by the UK sticker.
How do I read the best before date?
It's printed month first, US style. So 03/06/2028 means 6 March 2028.
Can I take it with my other supplements?
Usually, yes. Check the labels so you don't double up on the same nutrient, and never go over the stated dose. If you take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are under medical supervision, check with your GP or pharmacist first.
How long before I notice anything?
Everyone is different. A supplement tops up your diet day after day, so take it every day and give it a couple of months to settle into your routine.
