Choosing a multivitamin for men
There are two men's multivitamins here, and the only real decision is how much you want to take. Men's Daily Essentials is one capsule a day, for the man who wants a single straightforward thing and no fuss. Men's Complete is four capsules a day for someone who would rather take a fuller spread. Both are vegan, both use folate as methylfolate, and both take their vitamin D3 from lichen rather than sheep's wool, which is what makes them suitable for a plant-based diet.
On iron, most adult men do not need extra unless there is a particular reason, so neither of these is built around it. If you have been told you need more, that is worth a word with your GP or pharmacist first.
If you are weighing up whether a daily multivitamin is worth it at all, our guide to vitamins for men talks it through plainly. Omega-3 is a common question too, and since it is not part of these multivitamins, some men add a separate omega-3 fish oil at one softgel a day. Men over 50 often want something a little different, so we keep separate over-50 formulas and a read for men over 50 for that stage.
If overthinking it is the thing you want to avoid, the one-a-day is the one to reach for, since it is the easiest to remember and keep up. The four-a-day is there if you would rather take a fuller spread across the day.

Questions people ask
How do I choose between them?
If you like one simple capsule, the Daily Essentials. If you'd rather have the fuller formula and don't mind four capsules, the Complete.
When should I take it?
With a meal and a glass of water. The Complete is easiest as two capsules with breakfast and two with dinner, and its capsules can be opened into food or a drink.
Can I subscribe?
Yes. Choose Subscribe & Save on the product page and each delivery is timed to how long the pack lasts. You can pause, change or cancel whenever you like.
Does a multivitamin do any good?
For most men with a varied diet it is cover rather than a necessity, earning its place in the patchy stretches. It will not make up for a poor diet, and nobody serious will tell you it does.
Is omega-3 in a multivitamin?
Not in these ones. Omega-3 comes from oily fish rather than a multivitamin, so if you want it, our omega-3 fish oil is a separate softgel, one a day.
Do men need iron?
Most adult men do not need extra iron unless there is a specific reason, which is why our men's formulas are built without it. If you have been advised otherwise, follow that advice.
